The Washington Opera is a deluxe hotel located directly behind the
Palais Royal in the heart of Paris's beautiful and historic 1st district.
This property was once the home of the famous Madame de Pompadour,
mistress of King Louis XV; and its striking 18th century exterior

The hotel was in a great location, though it was located on a small
street. A few minutes walk will take you to the Louvre, and there
are small shops all over. Small rooms, small lobby but a charming
place. If you don't like the food in the basement restaurant, there
are bread shops and cafes nearby...
